Approved Contractor Scheme (ACS)

The Approved Contractor Scheme (ACS) provides a recognised hallmark of quality within the private security industry.

Approved contractors are assessed against 78 different areas of their business. These cover topics as diverse as staff training, financial management and the company’s health and safety policies.

When you choose an approved contractor you can be sure that the business you are working with has passed a through quality assurance check.

Action Counters Terrorism

T-Class UK actively supports ACT Awareness elearning working closely with the Metropolitan police to keep up-to-date on the latest legislation whilst also providing training to our guards through our training provider.

The aim of ACT is to:

  • Help understand the threat from terrorism to the UK
  • Guide individuals on what to do if they find themselves involved in a terrorist incident or events that lead up to a planned attack
  • Enable people to recognise and report suspicious activity

NASDUNational Association of Security Dog Users

Our sister company Metroguard Oxford Ltd supplies qualified NASDU dog handlers. The NASDU qualification covers the skills and knowledge needed to work as a general-purpose Security Dog Handler in a professional environment.

RISQS

T-Class UK is a member of RISQS, the railways supplier assurance scheme RISQS which is run by the industry, for the industry, under the stewardship of RSSB.

RISQS remains central to the safe and cost-effective procurement of railway products and services, providing assurance for 90 plus buyers including Network Rail and Transport for London (TfL) to do business with confidence with over 4,000 suppliers.
