There’s no greater feeling than knowing that your home or work place is being properly looked after whilst you’re away and, at T-Class Security, our key holding service offers that perfect peace of mind whenever you need it.
But what is key holding? We have been in the security business since 1998, and over the years have seen a trend in the most sought after services. By far one of the most popular is our key holding service, but we get a lot of questions from people who are unsure how key holding works.
Today we are answering some of your most asked questions about key holding, and how you can benefit from this extra level of security for your home or work place.
What is key holding security?
If you have ever struggled to find someone reliable to watch your house during a holiday, or a trusted person to lock up at the office when you’re unavailable – then the chances are you could have benefitted from a key holding service.
Key holding is essentially entrusting a key to your property, whether it be commercial or residential, to a third-party individual who then has the responsibility of ensuring the premises is secure whilst you’re away.
At T-Class security, our team of skilled and experienced experts can take away the risk of harm to you, your family or your colleagues by responding to any security breaches or risks at your property. By allowing us access to a key, we can enter and exit properties as and when it is necessary to ensure everything is as it should be.
We are also trained to handle real life situations, so in the case of a breach of security we are on-hand and experienced to deal with the situation.
What does trusted key holder mean?
A trusted key holder is the person or persons you allocate to hold your key. When you entrust T-Class security with your keys, we ensure that day or night we follow your specific instructions and go above and beyond to make sure premises are kept secure in your absence.
If you ever decide that you no longer require the use of our key holding service, your keys will be returned to you immediately.
What do I need to provide?
Here at T-Class security we like to do as much as we can at our end to make your life as easy as possible. With that in mind we ask our service users to provide us with all the important details of their property (such as alarm codes) and requirements at the start so that we can take care of things without bothering you.
If anything changes along the way, it is best to keep us in the loop – however other than instructions and keys, there’s not much you need to provide us with.
What if my property has an alarm system?
We appreciate that many properties will already have some other security systems in place, and this is no issue at all. Our team are experienced in using a range of alarm systems, all you need to do is provide us with any necessary codes so that we can gain access to your property when needed.
Can I use your key holding service in conjunction with other services?
Yes, of course! Many of our clients use our key holding service alongside other security services. We offer a range of solutions to suit many types of scenarios, so it’s always worth taking a look to see how we can offer a 360-degree security solution.
